Technical Implementation Specialist (Remote)

FlexOffers is seeking an Technical Implementation Specialist to support our growing roster of advertisers and publishers who use our services.. This role will be responsible for providing guidance to clients, helping them troubleshoot technical challenges, such as issues with their tracking or integration with our network or platform.

The Technical Implementation Specialist will also be responsible for being a subject matter expert in the tracking, data feeds, and reporting capabilities of our network and will quickly identify technical issues and provide recommended solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a digital or ecommerce setting, as well as technical knowledge of how digital campaign data is tracked. In addition, this person will have knowledge and experience with traffic and conversion tracking with attribution across digital channels, as well as be actively involved in the digital landscape as it relates to shifts that may affect advertiser and publisher performance tracking.


CLIENT TROUBLESHOOTING– As a subject matter expert, assist advertisers and publishers in troubleshooting technical difficulties with affiliate program tracking, data feeds, links, and reporting. Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, chat, and video web conferencing, providing guidance, testing, and solutions to technical issues.

LAUNCH INTEGRATION SUPPORT – As advertiser and publisher account managers onboard new programs and publishing partners, you will provide advertisers with technical support and advise on web-based JavaScript and server 2 server tracking implementations, while supporting publishers with answers to data feed inquiries and other technical implementations. Work closely with client and account services to guarantee that the technical implementation is completed successfully and on schedule.

NETWORK EXPERTISE – Build and maintain relationships with technical integration teams within our network and platform partnerships. Take initiative to understand the technical integration requirements for our network and platform.

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT – Keep up with the latest attribution and tracking technology in the ecommerce business. Keep an eye out for any new legislation or modifications from major search engines or mobile players that could have an impact on our clients’ tracking or how affiliate marketing performance is attributed throughout the networks.

GENERAL SUPPORT – Support new customer technical inquiries about UTM parameters, product data feed implementations, FTP, and APIs as needed. Support ad hoc technical requests that benefit the client services team as a whole.

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of digital, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of experience with how pixel tracking, java scripts and data collection processes work (server to server, FTP and APIs)
  • 2-3 years of experience with digital attribution platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Familiar with Shopify, BigCommerce, or other ecommerce platforms
  • 2 years of experience with JavaScript, understanding of JavaScript debugging
  • Familiar with debugging issues utilizing Chrome Developer Tools
  • Knowledge of affiliate networks and SaaS platforms, a plus
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a customer service capacity is a plus
  • Experience writing FAQ articles, recording training videos, and other how-to documentation is a plus
