The position will be instrumental in transforming and to continue to build our sales and marketing department into a performance powerhouse in alignment with the demand and growth of the overall business.  The successful candidate for this position will effectively influence all departments to execute the vision of the company.

The FlexOffers Sales team focuses on new client acquisition for the affiliate marketing channel. The team works with top e-commerce businesses to enable them to grow online sales and acquire new customers.

This position will be responsible for optimizing Affiliate Programs at FlexOffers.com for maximum exposure across the web. This includes evaluating current publishers, advertisers and identifying and recruiting new clients, as well as motivating current clients to improve campaign performance and maintain good relationships with publishers. Monitor all affiliate practices ensuring that they are in compliance. Manage and develop new partnerships using the performance marketing model like re-targeting, comparison shopping engines and other online advertising efforts ensuring all programs had a positive return on investments based on revenue, cost and margins. In addition to managing these affiliates, this individual will participate in merchant relations, affiliate/employee training and product and advertising campaigns development to drive traffic to all sites on a cost per sale basis.

Responsibilities

  • Daily affiliate management including ongoing development and deployment of fresh marketing creative, affiliate communications such as Newsletters and blog posts and offers.
  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues.
  • Recruit new affiliates, joint venture partners, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of marketing tools and sales creative to affiliates.
  • Establish channels of communication to ensure all affiliates and joint venture partners have access to marketing tools, and to develop custom marketing material as required.
  • Initiate new campaign ideas, incentives, and bonus offers.
  • Develop a quarterly affiliate campaign calendar and rollout plans.
  • Travel for in-person meetings with clients and partners and to develop key relationships.

Advertiser Relations Responsibilities

  • Contact Advertisers, OPM agencies and affiliate networks to establish co-marketing relationships, and proactively manage these relationships on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop, track, and manage offers for merchant partners, including establishing benchmarks and reporting relevant metrics.
  • Work directly with Marketing Director to develop testing, monitoring, reporting and other technological integration with existing systems.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years affiliate marketing experience, preferably online.
  • Retail experience with online advertising, and/or digital marketing strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical and presentation skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce and internet-based business models.
  • Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Education Requirements

Associates Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred with a sales/media/marketing focus OR similar hands-on experience in the field of performance marketing (Consumer data, Branding, Display Advertising, Email marketing, Affiliate Marketing).
