Accounting Assistant (Remote)

Our company provides exciting opportunities to work in a flexible environment. At least 4 years + of solid accounting work experience and an expert managing full A/R and A/P process as this will be the main area of focus, the person should also be familiar with financial reports, journal entries, with a creative mind, sharp and detail oriented.  




  • Full cycle of A/R Management  
  • Assist in the A/P process 
  • Assist in the audit of Partner payments  
  • Responsible for the daily sales reporting – pull and prep network reports and uploading sales into the system 
  • Assigning non-tracked sales to accounts 
  • Daily monitoring of sales for non-tracked, payout adjustments and returns discrepancies 
  • Liaison with affiliate managers to follow up on suspicious sales 
  • Liaison with all vendors & customers 
  • Auditing of monthly sales reports, preparation of invoices in NetSuite  
  • Post payments to publisher accounts 
  • Review documentation for accounting  
  • Assist in the monitoring of W-8 / W-9 form in Tipalti 
  • Handle payment disputes, billing inquires, processing deactivations and refunds 
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills   
  • Excellent written and verbal skills 
  • Detail oriented, creative, team player  
  • Assist the department head with other miscellaneous tasks 



  • 4 years of relevant experience 
  • Comfortable with speaking on the phone – Phone etiquette (collections)  
  • NetSuite experience is a MUST 
  • Experience working with Tipalti (a plus)  
  • Driven individual looking for growth and opportunity 
  • High level of customer service skills and professionalism required 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written required 
  • Meticulous record Keeping  
  • Self-Driven 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook) 
  • Must have ability to create any reports in NetSuite & Quicken to compile any information required by the head of department and CEO 
  • Must be organized and detailed oriented 
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices 
  • Must have the skills to use a computer and various software packages 
  • Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task 
  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines 


AA – Accounting Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)
